The Captain

Bo Buchanan is a US Coast Guard OUPV(6 pack) license holder and is insured for your safety. He has been navigating and fishing the coastal waters around Ocean City, MD for over 20 years.

He started fishing in the Chesapeake Bay when he was just months old and by the time he was 11, he had started fishing offshore with his father. They went 1 time and were hooked instantly on the beauty that the ocean provided. While he was in high-school, he spent most of his summers down at the marinas looking for any fishing trips he could find and really enjoyed being a first mate. He spent all of his off time building rigs and honing his skill as a mate. After high-school, he served in the Coast Guard, working on marine electronics. After separating from the military, he moved back to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and started fishing offshore once again. He has never lost touch with being the best fisherman he can be and is always willing to teach people the techniques he has learned over the years.

As a captain, he is still striving to be the best in the business. He may be new to the charter scene but he is not new to the ever changing ocean and even faster changing fishing techniques.
